Erika Pallazola

Erika Pallazola is a licensed clinical social worker. Her intention in therapy is to provide a validating, affirming, and collaborative space to explore identities, and create more intimacy and connection in relationships. Her therapeutic style combines warmth and humor with a solutions-focused and relational approach. She values directness and provides a welcoming space for her clients to reflect, learn, and grow. Erika supports clients in establishing clear and measurable goals that align with a more authentic experience of life. Erika has a special interest in supporting clients in improving executive functioning, particularly emotion regulation.

Erika’s clinical work is informed by her extensive experience in community mental health and correctional care. It is rooted in providing whole-person care through a liberation health framework. She has worked with adult clients and transitional-age-youth navigating anxiety, complex life stressors, health crises, life stage conflicts, trauma, and systemic barriers to care. Therapy with Erika draws from training in evidence-based practices including CBT, Mentalization Based Therapy and trauma-focused therapies including EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy.

Erika approaches therapy with the belief that each client is the expert in their own experience. She strives to co-create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel respected, empowered, and supported as they vision and cultivate new possibilities.

Erika completed her Master’s of Social Work at Smith College School for Social Work. She also has 10+ years providing emotional support and grief counseling to clients and their families on hospice care.
