Executive Director
Shelby Ligon is the Executive Director of Inclusive Minds Foundation, where she leads the organization’s mission to expand access to neuro-affirming mental health care for neurodivergent individuals and families. With an academic background in education and early professional experience as a classroom teacher, Shelby brings a strong understanding of learning differences, communication styles, and inclusive environments to her leadership.
Shelby oversees both the strategic vision and operational infrastructure of the Foundation, ensuring that care delivery systems are sustainable, responsive, and aligned with IMF’s mission. She has extensive experience managing people, strengthening internal processes, and building organizational structures that support high-quality, affirming care. Her background spans education, marketing, client services, and operations, giving her a practical understanding of how systems function and how to design them to better serve both providers and clients.
Under her direction, Inclusive Minds Foundation has continued to expand its clinical services, access initiatives, and advocacy efforts. Shelby is deeply committed to reducing systemic barriers that prevent neurodivergent individuals from accessing appropriate care and to building organizational systems that center clarity, dignity, and belonging. Her leadership ensures that the Foundation’s growth remains mission-driven, impact-focused, and grounded in the real needs of the communities it serves.
