Amanda Forte is a Community Habilitation Specialist who is passionate about empowering disabled and neurodivergent children and young adults to build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections within their communities. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Fordham University, where she developed a strong foundation in human development, behavior, and evidence-based approaches to supporting individuals with diverse needs.

She currently works one-on-one with children and young adults to develop social, emotional, communication, and daily living skills through individualized, strengths based support. She enjoys incorporating creativity into her work through art, writing, mindfulness, and community based activities.

Before her work as Community Habilitation Specialist, Amanda also taught STEAM, art, dance, and mindfulness programs for children, where she fostered inclusive, engaging learning environments that encouraged self-expression and emotional growth.

Amanda believes every individual deserves to be celebrated for their unique strengths. She strives to create supportive, empowering relationships that help clients feel confident, capable, and excited to reach their fullest potential.
